Tacoma Transfer Case Dilemma

Hello everyone, here is my dilemma. I have a 1998 Tacoma TRD that had the push button on the shifter to engage 4 high. Long story short it gave up the ghost and parts were a small fortune. So, I got a full manual case out of a 2000 4 runner, got it in, had to tap into the vacuum system and install a switch to engage and dis-engage the front differential. So far, mostly good, but the speedometer hook ups do not jive, so no speedo, no cruise. I have reading and looking for an adaptor but have fell short. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.
