Tacoma: Leafs hitting shocks?
I installed an add a leaf to the rear of the taco. I also put on new Pro Comp shocks. I have noticed a dent on the right shock where it looks like the leafs hit it or sumthin. Does anybody have any idea what caused this?

the shocks body is too large for the space available, i have 3" block on mine and have dents also, Ive taken off a shock and it does not bind so I'm not too worried about it

Had the same thing happen to mine when I installed the AAL on my lift. I got new shocks because the dented one was SHOT and installed shackles and removed the AAL. Haven't had any dents since i got rid of the AAL, so it kind of sounds like AAL's cause some kind of problem with the flexing of the leafs that make them hit the shocks. My advice is to ditch the AAL and get some shackles. The shackles will ride better and give you more flex than the AAL.
