Tacoma jump seat questions...

Obviously, the extended cab jump seats aren't comfortable for long term travel, but how useful are they?

Are they OK for short trips (30min - 1hr)?

Can they hold child safety seats, legally?

I know it would be a far cry from my quadcab dodge, but I would like to know what everyone thinks...

THanks,

~Troy

I would not suggest them for child seats. Thats why tacomas have an option to turn off the pass side front airbag

I don't think you can fit a child seat in the back. It's really tight. The child would have to go on the front, then the mom would have to sit in the back. For a 30min-1hour trip, it's not bad at all. I've done it. But it still sucks being back there. And if the person in the back gets car sick often, they will definitely feel uncomfortable back there.
