Pretty sure sourcing the parts needed (core support, fenders, hood, lights, grill, bumper, etc.) is going to be much more of a task than retrofitting your headlights...more expensive as well unless you get really lucky.

 

At first I thought it was a bogus idea, but after seeing it I like it a lot. Probably way too much money and time for my liking, but hey, if you have both go for it. Retrofitting some projectors will be way easier than changing your whole front clip. I suggest you search around this site cus there is a lot to be learned from guys that have already done projector retrofit projects. This is just my .02 though so if you feel up to the swap I will admit it looks badass.

 

anyone know of a 2000-04 tacoma grill/fenders etc swapped to a <1989 4runner?

 

upgrade to 99+ fat lip bumper and paint to match. get 01+ grille paint and match. Thats what I need to do on mine and the rear plate trim.

 

Anyone know if the 98 Tacoma front bumper will bolt up to my 98 4Runner?? I recently smashed mine, and can get a Tacoma bumper for FREE! Thinking this would be an interesting replacement!
