Tacoma 2002

I bought a new(2002) Tacoma Extended cab a few months ago. It has the 4 cylinder/5 speed etc.

The truck has almost 4 thousand miles on it now and I'm noticing alot of noise/vibration coming from the drivetrain. Especially in the transfer case shifter at highway speeds.

I was wondering if this is normal with this truck. Im new to Toyota so I wouldnt really know much about it.

Thanx for any replies...

PS.
Also, at exactly 2000 rpm's in all forward gears, there is noticable vibration in the accelerator pedal.

your driveshaft could be off balance, take it to the dealer and tell them to replace the driveshaft should solve the problem.

doesn't sound normal to me. It should be as good as new up to at LEAST 100k.

I'd say take it back to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty.
