T/B gasket

I am going to get brave this weekend and remove, clean, and re-install my T/B. My question- When putting it back together, should the gasket go on dry or is some sort of gasket treatment in order. Thanks for the help. 85 4runner 22re

For the TB gasket, dry is fine.

Have fun!

no probs.

The process you're looking at is pretty straight-forward. Go slow, note how the thottle cable attaches and you'll be fine!

Dry is fine. If you want, you can use a Permatex red spray sealant and it won't hurt anything. I'd also use just a drop of a medium thread locker on the bolts. Food for thought.
