Sweet 3rd Gen with Procomp 4" lift
I was on the TTORA forum and this guy posted over there. It is the only 4runner I have ever seen with the procomp 4" lift and it has Downey/Bilstein coilovers to add an extra 3". I dont think he posts over here, we should send him an email and invite him over.

Freakin'-A-Man! That is the nicest 3gen I've seen.
Man, the first 3rd gen (that I know of) to swap the rear coils with leafs. Its the only way to lift the rear if your going with TM or ProComp lift.
OK. I need a name and e-mail address. I need questions answered. he he
Time to start saving up again!!
That front bumper kicks a**.

That thing ROCKS. After looking at the pics on his site i was wondering what parts were the actual Procomp lift. It appears there is a block or spacer on top of the coilover and some type of bracing under the front cross member. I must say the rig was done right and it looks great.

yea it looks nice, but for the work he put into it he shoulda done a SAS if he wants to do more than pose for the camera. still a good lookin truck tho, i really like the bumper but having a skid plate that tall looks funny to me.

Hello Everyone!
Thank you for sending me all that email to get my butt over here
I aslo want to know what the heck is a SOS? hehe
I do like my 4Runner , and I also think i am going to hold on to it for a while. This lift has turned out very good with a full 7" lift in the front and about 12" in the back. I will be tring to get more pictures up very soon, I have pictures of the leaf install, I just have to get around to upload them.
I didnt build this turn for looks, I wheel it once every weekend places like Sierra Trek ... If anyone is in the Sac area in CA and your going out please give me a call, I have see any people who wheel their 4Runners in Northern CA yet.
Well I hope to hear from your input about my lift, and hey why dont you like my full body skid? yes thats right, it goes from the bumper to the gas tank
(I hope i never crash into someone)

Welcome to the forum Greg!
First, let me say that I am very impressed with the amount of work you have put into your Runner. Its looks great!
I have a few Q's about the Pro Comp lift, if you don't mind. From the pics, it looks to me like it lowers everything put the upper control arm? What about the half-shafts and CV/s? Are those the stock 4Runner parts or are there new ones with the Pro-Comp Kit? Just curious...
About wheeling in your area, be sure to check the Off Road Trip Planning section, I think there's some YotaTechies in your area that would like to hit the trails with you just to see your truck in person.
I'd like to hear more about your truck, so keep the pics coming in...Looks like you got enough room for at least 35's on there...
Cheers,

For the front lift I only used a pro comp lift and a downey lift. I should have just went with the trailmaster or Fabteck lift . The lift was a pain to install just because of the uper ball joints, you need to press them into the pro comp spacer, if you didnt have to do that part, the kit would take 1 day, I have to bring the pro comp spacer to a shop to have them pressed in. I will check out the 4wheeling section to see when people will be going!
