Hey bud thanks for emailing me back! Ok so I have 4.0 out of my 2008 perrunner that I rolled
I'm looking to get a 89-95 Toyota pickup single cab 4x4 have not picked one up just yet still shopping. I'm looking for a sas and lifted one I think these will halp with the swap? I'm going to get the ecu that's only like $120 on eBay, the moto has a the wiring on it still. I don't have a doner tuck like you did. I know I'll need the fuel pump to get the same psi that it needs. I don't have my 15 stupid post so I can't see ur pics. I am really excited to see that you pulled this of!!! I kinda want a better idea of the motor mounts u used-made lol? What else do u think I'll need to make her work? I'm not worried about A/C or air bags or any thing like that maybe ASB but will see about that when I get there! Like I said the truck was a PreRunner so it's 2wd manual 6 speed I'm getting a 4x4 truck and getting a t-case later to work some thing out with the 4x4! I just want to first get her on the road! Thanks for the helping hand!!!

Having the donor truck helped quite a bit...beside fuel pump, I used the fuel padel since it's electronic one. Also, I used some of the links in the steering hoses reaching the power steering pump..

My original '92 had a rear brake ABS...now NO ABS what else..what else... I can go with you on a step by step approach with you bild and may be you can come up with better ways too.....I can take more pics˟as you may need..

Let's try to communicate through Yotatech.com so we have all of this shared ..may be also benefiting-- the public audience out there!

Thanks for sending me those pic they give me a better idea about how it all fits together lol! Can u tell more about the mounts???

Thanks motmoxxx87 for the correct link! I felt like daaaaaaaaaaa

So where are your Q's for me to try to answer them as I can. What about the engine mounts? Plz. note the engine mounts are a function of the whole setup [remembr I had the engine, tranney & X-case installed as a unit for me to judge the hieght {plus how much fronward/backward you want the engine be given your available space} and the angle -minimizing vibrations..or better yet eleminating it]

For me there was no road map to go by so it was kinda trial and error...but Eureka! I did it..

Stay connected..
Adam

p.s.: I sent you a reply to ur private msg that i thought would appear here...any idea?! have u rcvd it?..if YES, Plz post it

Ok I also have the tranny and engine but no x-case cuz mins a PreRunner. So did u just use the stock motor mounts off the doner and weld them in or what how did it work? Also as far as the gas pedal what all did u need there? What did u do for a speedo? Drive line did u just fab one up or what?

The engine mounts were not the stock ones. Pls refer to pics. We had to tinker with ones from another truck [I recall it was from a Mercedes-Benz; The idea was on practicality and service of my purpose! >>once, your engine & tranney are put in place then you will decide on the positioning up-down, left & right to center your engine given the available space. [must be completely level "HORIZONTAL" as possible to eliminate vibrations with drave shaft and to the back>>near fire wall as possible to account for better center of gravity and weight distribution between front and back axels.

GAS Pedal: It's a fly-by-wire so there is no cable in the "Mass-Air-Flow" (MAF)...I also had all wiring harness installed plus ECU and that's why, I did not need to think of improvising something else since electronic controls are involved!

I used the same Guage cluster from the donor truck. Everything works...except my delayed and over due solution to the speedometer.

Sorry for being late to reply...I'm currentrly job hunting!
Take care..

Hey Buddy,
I really do not reacall the make & model year other than I was going on a trial and error based on the set up I have; up/down, front/back. They are of course a weld to the frame and bolt to engine on same place or original motor mounts.

Drive shaft was a direct fit yet combination of a piece from my old one and a piece [front shaft...yes front shaft used in the back] from the donor truck!

Again...have patience and you will get there fine and dandy..

so you used the tranny that came with it, right? anyone know how the 3.0 or 3.4 block bolts would compare to the 4.0? would the r150 or the auto tranny out of a 3.0 or 3.4 work/bolt up?
got one out a 09 for $500 with full vehicle harness/ecu and other stuff. going to try to put in a 94 runner. or at least for a friend. i have not seen the motor yet so i am wondering about the block bolts.

could you post up some more picts..... finished complete motor engine bay, under motor shot, hood, etc.....

thinking about doing this as a future swap candidate. how hard was it to bypass the immobilizers? are there any mil codes? I dont have emissions where i am from but do you think removing them will make the motor run like crap?
