I was messing around with what all this shizzle is gonna cost, and I realized the swap, no matter what I choose, will cost almost as much as everything else I am planning. That makes it look pretty silly, seeing as how it is only ONE part of the truck, and I have a reliable, if slow and thirsty, engine already. If I don't do an engine swap, I could get a 5spd for better mileage, not have to re-gear for 33s, maybe do the TB upgrade, even an SMT-6...those dual maps would be nice...one for power one for mileage....it's possible I could do all of that for less than a swap would cost. The mileage might even go up 3-4 mpg, I could live with that I think. I wish I could drive a 3rd gen or an engine swapped 2nd gen, that would probably help me make up my mind...maybe I should go see if I can test drive a used 3rd gen lol....actually that's a good idea....there's a couple for sale around here right now....
