suspension choices

ok guys.....I want your opinion.

my 98 has 63,000 and I am ready to re-do the suspension.

from reading the board, I have narrowed it down to a couple of choices.

1. Get the progressive 1 inch springs for the rear with bilstien shocks, also billies up front. Also purchase and install the sway bars to reduce roll.

2. get the Old Man Emu lift and shock setup for a 2 inch lift and better trailering ability.

I want a much more controlled ride...like many of the users, my runner handles bumps horribly and floats and bounces over rough roads. Please give me your thoughts as to what setup will work better for me.

I tow my boat a lot over the summer, and spend most of my time on the road. I want good control over rough surfaces, something I only dream of now. A good firm ride, not a bumpy one is what I am looking for.....please help!!!

Look at xtreme off road's suspension write up with the sway away race runners in the front and downey's 3 1/2" coils in the rear . I just ordered it and it was about $900 for everything including rear shocks and limiting straps.
