how hard is it to get mounting brackets for these racks..and would it hurt to have it shipped without padding? anything else i should know? i am thinking about buying it, thanks, kyle

Mounting brackets can be ordered from Overlander or the SURCO website. It is fairly simple to install, even though they do not provide good instructions. Im not sure if mine came in a padded box, but I wouldnt worry about it.
