Is there a supercharger for my 1991 3.0 4runner 4x4?

I told by an ASE certified Toyota Tech that it would not be worth the $$ due to the fact that the 1996 and older models have the "old computer technology".

Just what I was told.:pat:

Don't you mean 95 and older? And isn't it also because the headgasket won't the handle extra poweR?

The Tech DID include the 96 model also. Just what he said. Maybe he meant the 95 instead, I don't know. But, when I asked a second time I was told turough the 96 model.

I would think the head gaskets would not be able to take the added compression either.

I am a DIY guy and not a mechanic though.

you could put a nice free flowing exhaust system to help the 3.slow breathe a bit better like many of us have done, you can do the ISR and airbox mod seen here and you could even put on some headers. in short though, there isnt really anything to do to the 3.slow to have outrageous power gains like a S/C. hope this helps
