Hey welcome, nice truck!

How did you get 5:12 gearing, that's not a standard Toyota ratio???

Any fuel mods to go with that blower?

Thx for the props guys, the guy that had the work done told me 5:12 gears, ill have to see if he has any documentation on that, I just went with what he told me. As far as I know there are no fuel mods..How do I tell if they have done anything such as the 7th injector mod..(IM not even sure what that is yet at this point ) ive just seen it mentioned alot.

Yeah he probably just got the numbers mixed up. Here are some of the standard Toyota ratios: 4.10 (sometimes called 4.11) 4.56, 4.88, 5.29, 5.71. There are also some below 4.10. Now if you have some Dana differentals or something strange like that there are other choices in between those ratios.

That's a good question. I'm not sure what a 7th injector looks like either, never seen one. And the URD piggy back boxes can be hidden up under the dash so well you'd never even see them if you didn't know excactly what to look for. But I'd guess the guy would have said something about them if you had them because they can cost a lot of $$$.

Here is a good place to start reading about your SC though.

Here's the URD options for fuel mods:

Love the red! It's nice to think my truck could someday look like that. Sorry if I missed it but is t a pre-runner or a 4x4? The only thing I regret when buying my truck was I let them talk me out of a 4x4. Welcome to Yotatech! Good bunch of people around here.

mt. goat, he said 5.29 in the first post, not 5.12 - unless he edited it to say 5.29 afterwards

Nice clean truck, i hope to supercharge mine sometime in the next year, though that depends on if i choose to continue upgrading it or build another project vehicle

Yep, (Last edited by hoopman : 10-25-2007 at 11:27 AM) I guess he figured it out now. If he's right he's one of the few guys I've seen (other than me)running 5.29s with a supercharged engine. I don't know the diameter of his 315 x 70 tires though.

ya try hosting them at www.photobucket.com has worked great for me so far! No spam or anything.

beautiful taco! i love the 01-04 years, they are my favorite.

If you do ever start to wheel it, i would look into the shaving the ends of that bumper where the wings come into the wheel well. I can't see that being very good for wheel travel.
