When looking at my engine 98LTD its saying something about requiring plugs with the dual ground electrodes, is this mandatory ? what is everyone running ? I was thinking like maybe some Denso Iridiums or something nice. Also about quality wires. Thanx in advacne !

Just use the stock OEM plugs......yes they are dual electrode!
Forget the wires, save your money for other stuff like an amsoil air filter if you buy anything.

First of all, welcome to the board

Second of all, by using the button at the top of this page you can find a wealth of info.

Thirdly, buy yourself a flame suit for your first post!

Hold your breath, here comes some halon.

Amsoil is better then K&N

cutting a hole in the airbox allows the engine to suck more air easier. Putting a deckplate in allows you to plug it if you decide its too loud, or if there is a chance of a high water crossing.

For sparkplugs and wires, stick with toyota until you get a supercharger and need cooler plugs.
