Ok, again Ill be looking for a 3rd gen pickup ext cab 4x4 22RE 5 speed. And of course Ill be enjoying it by mudding often. Will I have to worry about wires and other electric stuff getting wet? Or will I be set right away?

I havent had any probs of the sort with my 81 except once, and all it did was just idled really low after I drove through a mud/water puddle at about 50mph

Am I just worring to much?

 

I have never off roaded (yet) but I beleieve you do have to worry about water/dirt/dust...plus you should lube everything afterwards to as you should for reg maintenance
