STUPID!! Potential problem.

This evening I was adding my monthly fuel injector cleaner and the dag foil seal went into the gas tank!!!
I know the fuel filter will catch it but when that will happen and if it will clog and not run (b/c of a little shinny round obstruction) I will go nuts. I don't want to have to drop the tank and get out the dang thing. I may just wait and hope it does not hinder my fuel flow.
Need to look up where the fuel pump is, had a Buick with the fule pump in the tank itself.
WARNING: Be sure to thoroughly remove the foil seal before adding any fuel additive to the tank. Usually it is hard as heck to get off, but tonight it came off to good.
If any suggestions please reply
Thanks

I am not too sure about this but I think there is a screen on the fuel pump that filters before fuel gets to the filter up-line. If this gets coverd imagine running a shop-vac with the nozzle stuck to a window. After a while the shop-vac (fuel pump) will say **ck it. Even if there is no screen on the pump I don't think there is enough pressure to move the foil seal through the fuel line. It may just clogg up at the begining of the piping out of the tank. I don't have a manual and am pretty new to my 4Runner so I don't know where the fuel pump is. Prolly in the tank. Whatever happens, good luck.

The baffels in the fuel tank wil not allow that little piece to get into the fuel holding baffel. If it does make it into there, the fuel pump strainer will keep it from getting past that point. Just dont worry about it. If you are really distraught, just drive it empty, and drop the tank to clean that piece out, though you'll struggle just trying to find the damn thing.
