Struts done, now a couple coil wrap Q's
Been lurking (and learnig) for years, first post
Just did my front struts (shocks) on my 99 Taco. Two quick Q's....
Why is there 8 coil wraps on the drivers side and 9 coil wraps on the Pass? seems the dia is the same. Wonder if they were swapped at one point helping the 'Taco Lean' ? diff rates? no I didnt take the compr clamps off and compare the heigths
Since I did the struts I have read to have a Hunter mchn align the front end. Why? seems all I did was change 'shocks' and not change the geometry any.
Enlighten me, new to IFS chit

Now back to the alignment Q ? if the geometry didnt change why align, unless it is just an accepted practice
