Unhappy Strange Stall

I am puzzled.

I was just getting onto the freeway yesterday and my engine just stalled during acceleration.

I was coming off a 270d RH on-ramp and stuck going about 45 behind a 4 tired road plug. Once clear, I put my foot in it and as I was even with the slow car there was what seemed like slight sputter (1/2 second, if that long) then my engine died!!! :wtf:

I tried changing accellerator input, nothing.

I tried putting it in neutral and restarting, nothing.

I coasted for about a while trying variations on both, nothing.

I tried putting in gear for a push start, nothing.

Finally, I came to a stop, shut everything down, removed the key and then went through a normal startup. It worked just fine.

I called my dealer (I was there for a simple FREE oil change in the AM) and he didn't have any specific idea either. The only guess we could make was something (like a little water) got into the fuel!

Any ideas?

sounds like the Dorsal fin valve. But really i have no clue, water in the fuel sounds good but it would have to been more than a little.

I believe the dorsal fin valve is connected to the disgronificator.
