hey all it's been a while since i posted but i finally got my truck fix w00t :p anyways i have something to ask lately my throttle will stick at 2 grand when i go to change gears or engage on the clutch. if i tap the gas it will drop back down but will go back up later. My brother tightin the throttle cable since he said there's too much slack and that help fixed the problem for a little while but now it's back so if anyone know what i can do to fix this please help me thanks oh yeah i have a 22 R-E if you need to know.

 

have you tried cleaning out the throttle body??

its probably got some varnish and other gunk in there making the throttle stick.

 

The dashpot on the throttlebody might also be sticking too.
