Steering Stabilizers...

If you run a 4inch suspension and 2 inch body lift on an 80s 4runner, with a 33x9.5 tire, will you need need steering stabilizers? If so where you can buy them online?

All Pro Offroad...I have one on my 85 and it works great. Welds to the pass side frame and bolts on the drag link, but you need to check if it is applicable to your rig.

The 80s 4runner came from the factory with a steering stabilzer. Nearly all the shock manufacturers offer much better aftermarket replacements, they bolt on like stock, no welding required. Your 4" lift kit should even come with a drop bracket for the stabilizer.

You *could* put dual ones on too (just buy the dual kit) but you sure don't *need* a dual one, the decision is purely cosmetic.

I've got a ProComp ES3000 or something like that and it works great for 33x12.50 BFG Mudders...no problems yet.

Hey!
I plan on getting an OME (Old Man Emu) steering stabilizer in the near future for my 2nd gen. All I've heard is good about those things.

Have fun all.

The Procomp one is cheaper and a direct bolt in. It took me a whole 45 mins to get it done and would have been faster if I wasn't taking pics of it.
