I have a 974runner ltd, and my new wheels that I installed are shimming on the hwy when I do about 60, do these 3 gen have steering stabilizers? I was thinking maybe that's what I need since i put wider wheels......any advise??

 

I believe there is no steering stabilizer on the 3rd gen tacos and 4runners. They've got rack and pinion and I dont believe theres an aftermarket solution to that ( I could be wrong though ).........

Sounds to me like you might need to have those tires re-balanced

 

I had them balanced twice and I still have the same problem, but thanks anyway.
