Steering problem?!?
Every once and a while while I'm making a turn (left or right) I will feel a slight push thru the steering wheel? Could it be my power steering pump is about to die?
I have a 95 with a stock front.

Check your PS pump level and check it for leaks. If it checks out good pull your skidplate off (4 12mm bolts) and see if your steering stabilizer is leaking oil. You'll get some weird feedback if it's shot. OME has bolt on replacement that'll make a huge difference in your handling.

Thanks guys! I hope its not my gear box....
The strange thing is that about 8 months ago the PS reservoir was real low. I filled it and it had been fine ever since...
I'll pull off the skid plate tomorrow and take a look!

UKMyers is correct! The smaller dia. tube was covered with oil.....
I stopped by the stealer to pick up an oil filter ($4.65) and asked how much a new stabilizer would cost..... $140 bucks!
Old man emu here I come!

Thanks for the link. I've been planning on switching all my shocks to OME. I just get to start with the SS first. Never fear about going back to stock, I was just curious what they would charge. But with OME costing $60 and stock $140 I'll think I just go to the dealer for oil filters........
thanks again!

I was searching for info about sterring stablizers (obviously) and was wondering if you could use any shock that is long/ short enough, or if it had to be made for use as an SS?
I saw a writeup somewhere about a rancho SS and the box looked just like a regular RS5000 box. Same size, no extra markings. Just curious.
