Speedo Question...
#1
I've been reading alot about your tires you guys have been upgrading to. In one of the post it mentioned:
So no I wondering...
I have a new '02 SR5 with the P265/70R16 tires.
Since these are stock, is my Speedo accurate? If not, how far is it off?
The difference with mine being, I never actually went up in size..they came with the 31's
Thanks

"It will throw your speedo off the same percentage your tire size increases. So if you go from a 31 to a 32 your speedo will show 3% slower than actual."

Hi Mark,
If those are the stock wheels and tires, your speedo should be accurate. A quick way to check it is with a GPS. Most newer ones will show ground speed in real time. Way cool.
My LC was not off as far as I expected. (31" tires, but I guestimated a correction and changed the speedo drive gear)
