I got a 96 4Runner 2.7 with a Manual Transmission and the wireds got pulled out of the vehicle speed sensor connector. I'm trying to match the 3 wires up with the connector. The slots on the Connector are numbered 1, 2, 3 and the wires are yellow/Black, Blue/Pink, Blue/white. Can anyone help me match these wires back up to the connector??

 

From my 98' EWD,I found vehical speed sensor located in the combo meter section...for 3VZ-FE, 3pin Black connector color:

pins look like this with the connector disconnected,pins facing you ..with the connector lock orientated up:

small notch on bottom to line up connector


pin1=B-Y black/yellow
pin2=P-L pink/blue
pin3=GR-L gray/blue

They match up with your colors except the pin 3...maybe they changed colors from 96 to 98'.....
