Speed (rev) limiter kicked in or whay?

just to clarify--- i really dont waste my time building a speed unlimiter with a pld or a couple of ICs ( I made mine with a simple switch inside the glovebox)....i have better things to do. anyways, dont you think that stopping both the odometer and the speedometer just to go over 108 is kind of not smart? It is possible to retain all the factory equipment and just eliminate the speed limiter without the check engine light. Dont you think that eliminating everything that is in conjunction with a specific function is counterproductive? my point was....if you have an automatic or a stickshift it doesnt matter, the correct wire to cut if u ONLY want to eliminate the governor is the green/orange in position 35 of the ecu main harness.
