Specific Cylinder misfire - changes to random misfire
Current odometer 216,xxx
Recently got the p0304 code. After thorough investigation (coil packs, wires, gaskets etc) the injector was the issue. p0304 code is cleared.
Immediately after the fix I drive around and a P0300 Random misfire code si thrown, that was not thrown before. I carefully pull everything apart and put it back together.
Now it runs still with a misfire, however no codes will show after driving around.
1800 rpm and 40mph is a happy place for then engine. It runs smooth as if there was no issue.
Thoughts advice ???????

Engine? Vehicle?
I'm assuming 3.4 V6 in your 97 runner
Very first thing I would do is check grounds...at least one I can think of was unbolted to replace an injector
