Sparkplug wires in anysize (7mm-10mm) you want
#41
Thanks everybody for their recent interest in the Wires4Cars site and our plug-wire sets. I apologize for not jumping on this forum sooner to help out with questions.
OK - now for some answers:
Thanks everyone for pointing out the 2.7L vs. 3.4L typo in the 5VZFE 4Runner listing - we are updating and correcting our Toyota listings, so that will be fixed and current year models will be covered.
With regards to size/color - all our wiresets are available in 7, 8, 9, and 10mm subject to the type wire required for the particular application and constraints due to connector configuration.
The Toyotas use a suppression cable, which we have available in 7, 8, and 9mm. Except.... where the you see the term 5mm in the wireset description.
Toyota changed some of their ignition components (looks to be right around '92-'93) - creating a scenario where we simply could not introduce a conductor larger than 5mm into the connectors.
Those sets labeled 5mm are only available in black .
I know, sorry - I wish it were otherwise, but the demand for 5mm ignition cable is such that we can't source quality conductor in any other color.
Hope that helps, and wish there was more positive news for you guys driving late model 'yotas.
Feel free to post additional questions about the sets and I'll try to respond as quickly as possible.
Cheers,
TWoody

I'm reading it as 5mm wires are only available in black. I have their 8mm red wires with black boots on my 96.

May I add to this thread by saying that I too am disappointed that I cannot get some bling bling colored wires in a heaier AWG / MM from this vendor for my ’02 4Runner. However, IMHO and YMMV, having dealt with many many vendors over the past 10 years and spending an average of $10K per year, I suggest that anyone who wants new wires give Woody and his company the business. I spent some time chatting with him and came away with a gut feeling that this is the type of person I want to do business with. He cares and he will do well. I have nothing to gain by saying this, not even a set of 9mm RED wires. Good luck to all.
