spark plug wires?
Okay, 60k. Been doing searches and I GUESS I'm ready to change the plugs myself. I dont think it was changed at 30K. Should I change the wires as well? Says nothing about it in the manual.

Probably should.
Since you're replacing the plugs anyway, you might as well do the wires too. It's a convenient time to do it. I just did my plugs and wires and got a boost of 3 mpg! The wire kits are about $40 at an auto parts store so not too expensive. FYI: the kit only has three wires for the 3rd gen.

Be Careful replacing your wires with non OEM or even the "quality" (read "high price") wires from your local auto parts store. My friend was just going through the same situation just a month ago or so. He decided he might as well change his wires while he was in and got the cheap ones from the partst store. <5K later he was getting secondary ignition sputter at high rpms from his new wires...put in old wires and it fixed the problem...
Just a friendly warning that this is not really a no-brainer.

OEM wires and plugs are the only way to go. And yes, I do sell them and use them in my own vehicles. For more information send your inquiry to info@trdparts4u.com

.....at 60k your wires are likely fine....my originals are near 140k and still work great.

I Agree with MTL--Have almost 150k on mine and they seem to be doing just fine. If you still question whether your wires are good or not (if its sputtering) you can open the hood at night and see whether or not the wires are arcing(rev the engine some to put a load on it). However i havent seen this happen since my 1984 Toyota Tercel with 160k and original wires.
