Nice job Peter! I am curious....is the bumper a more of a gloss style as opposed to the matte finish I am used too? In the pictures it does look like it has a glossy finish which I actually think I like better.
Thanks again for a whole slew of things!
you da man,
Richard

richard,

i believe you are right that the tjm bumper is a semi-gloss black.

pete: looks like you used hammerite black which as you can see, is not black. i'd color match that with a semi-gloss black to make it look right

Looks good dude!

Where are the slots for turn signals? That's the T17 right?

I think they had a screw up on a batch of the T-17's and they came out without turn signals slots on a few from what i could gather from Steve. My question is when did the T-17 become a one-piece bumper or have they always been one piece on the Tacoma?

By the way the bumper and hoops look great. The hoops follow the lines of the Tacoma front end a little better than the 4Runner I think. Richard and Steve are 2 great guys to deal with kudos for such a nice looking product.

jonathan,

steve breaks it all down on page 2 of my tjm writeup: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...writeup+tjm+17

and yes, the bumper that tacoma dood bought did not have the light cutouts. he got a great deal for it too

I'm still debating that. I didn't have any semi-gloss black but I have plans to have that hammerite hammered black show elsewhere on my truck later so I'm debating leaving it there to match. I do have a few more coats to go so I may just end up going straight black. Decisions, decisions

BTW, thanks for taking care of some of the questions while I was offline
