Those are the updated ones w/o the RE/heim joints. Now he just uses the regular Toyota rubber bushings. I wonder why he changed them?

Why you ask? The machine shop that made the spacers to use the Rubicon Express joints in the Toyota mounts went out of business. I had an inside hook up there that allowed me to get the parts made for a reasonable price in smaller quantities. No other machine shop we have found is able to make the pars for the price we were paying and wants to run huge loads of them, requiring a very large amount of up front money on our part.

Now that being said, we already have prototype links with press in Genuine Toyota high articulation joints in the testing phase. Look for those very soon.

Oh I see.

... Funny that I still cannot find any information on it, even after looking through the site.

Don't have them yet. Hopefully soon... https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f31/...-links-133246/
It is disappointing that the Rubicon joints are no longer available but the piece of mind knowing you'll never bend a SS link versus the stock link makes this investment worth it.

You'll probable get an order from me in March for these and knowing my luck I'll probable bend it even more before then.

Lesson to all search before posting.

I guess that is the problem with having a guy who reads these boards work on your truck. I know he has a bent one as I put the e-locker axle under his truck. I also know that with 99 coils his trac bar is off 3/8" which is pretty lame considering he has STOCK coils.

Rocket do you have them yet?

Are they difficult or easy to replace?

I have the old style with the RE joints and they are easy to install...just take your time and follow the instructions.

How much longer are these over the stock links?, will they recenter the wheel in the opening after installing the FJ80 coils?

That will not work. Details on the website.

http://www.sonoransteel.com/rubicon_express_links.html

I will also move the info to the current links webpage. In a nutshell if you make the links longer the upper mounts will no longer tuck up in front of trac/panhard bar cross member.

Someone did it once and it did so much damage that the only way out was a rear leaf conversion.

Got the new links in today and they are differently beefier than the stock ones . I'd probable ruin my 4runner before I bend one of these .

Either this weekend or next I'll be installing them.
