Sonoran Steel Lift System # 7 Installed - Lots o' pics!

Tackled the entire install in my garage on Saturday, with the help of my dad. It took us about 6 hours or so, but went flawlessly and I'm very happy with the results. I measured both before and after - gained exactly 2.0" in front and 2.5" in the rear - just as advertised (*please note that the rear shocks are currently stock and neither the adj panhard bar nor the extended bump stops have been added at this time either...due to cash limitations)

Many thanks to Steve Schaefer of Sonoran Steel for taking the time to research the right components that compliment eachother and work the first time. This kit is well worth the money!

Now for some pics:

An early dawn shot at the gas station...

I have an ARB snatch strap and OME 890 coils, so I can safely run these without getting flamed, right?

A shot in the parking lot at church next to a...ahem...(cough, cough) stock '99-'02 4Runner...

At the new Big 2 TOYOTA dealership in Gilbert, AZ

A shot of the SS # 7 front set-up. Check out my CV angles - still looking good! A little bit of CV grease found its way out after running it up to 70-80 mph on the freeway, but this is nothing compared to the seepage I had on my '99 4Runner with stock 4WD coils and a 1" Daystar Spacer on Bilsteins.

Found a mound of dirt to flex on:

Full droop:

Please, haven't you learned anything on YT, the tail lights show that it's either a '99 or '00 Lift looks good, congrats.

good looking rig, i would be careful flexing it with the stock shocks as to not max them out and ruing them while you are waiting on your new shocks.

Looks good. I'm expecting a #1 kit any day from Steve. From your pics it looks like I may need to get some larger tires!

Yeah, 111db, I totally agree. My tires are lookin' a little on the small side now. Perhaps a 285 is on the horizon? Someday...

Dude! If the badge was moved, it obviously isn't stock! Just kidding. Your runner looks sharp man.
