something causing rear axle sideways movement
#23
Bushings were fine, but the bolts allowed about 1/16-1/8" of play in the rod because they were so worn around their mid sections. Easy fix.

Good to know. I put my lift on last weekend and immediately had the same rearend wiggle.

I finally replaced my pan hard rod and bolts! It is crazy how much a little bit of play in this rod messed up my steering. Was getting to be quite a hand full on the highway! Now its staight as an arrow.

very much appreciate the solution being posted. Too many threads with questions and not enough with actual answers.
Very helpful J-money$$$
those of you guys that are super lifted in the rear may need the panhard relocation bracket-I believe Toytec sells.
Example being the (front) LandCruiser springs in rear of a 3rd gen Runner.
