snowmobile fit in back ?

snowmobile fit in back ?

i'm lookin at buying a 94 reg cab pickup.....will a snowmobile or four wheeler fit in the bed of it?...stupid question but just wondering...is it a bad idea to do that?...hurt truck or suspension?..sorry i'm a newbie

Weight shouldn't be an issue (and can be fixed easily if it is). Biggest problem is going to be size (and getting the darn thing up there). A 4Wheeler should fit lengthwise, even in a short bed, but might have trouble with the wheel wells. A snowmobile will probably be just the opposite (assuming it goes in butt first).

I have an 2002 Taco and tried to put a 4x4 quad in the back I couldn't close my tailgate and it was pretty heavy. I think a snwmobile would be to heavy and long.

So the cables on the tailgate are rated at 300 or 500?

Do they offer stronger cables for this kind of thing? I would assume this would be the only thing to hold you back provided you have adequate straps to tie the thing down.

Not that I'd know or anything.

i have had a snomobile in my 83 longbed no problem. except for that one time, when i ramped it in, and missed the opening between wheelwells, and broke the bedliner.
