I don't think I have the nerve to drive into a river that deep and depend on the watertightness of the vehicle to keep it from sinking, and hoping that no water gets into places it shouldn't due to failed waterproofing. Not sure I'd want to depend on the current to (as it appears to) drift it to shallower water either.
As someone mentioned, it looks like they came awfully close to getting water into the snorkle. That would qualify as an "OH *($%@" in my book.
I think I'll stick to dry land and only cross water if I have to and if I know how deep it is.

Yea that video is sick.. That is Safari's "test" section where they test out snorkles.. Way cool to see it back up though.
As long as you don't sit too long, not very much in the line of water will come in.. But if you stop and sit as in being stuck.. you are gonna be in trouble.. My deepest depth was about center of the door and at an aporach angle going in was 2 feet up the hood
