The tool is nice. It will save some time. With it you will not have to remove the power steering pump, A/C compressor and their brackets.

If you use this time saving tool you really should replace your water pump which you really should do anytime you replace the timing belt. It seems that the water pumps fail very soon after timing belt replacements if it is not changed with the belt. I will bet that it has to do with using this time saving tool. This is most likely from the side load that is put on the water pump pulley when you push off of it to compress the tensioner.

I would also suggest replacing the idler pulley and the tensioner pulley. It will be a big PITA to change them later...

Yea, I'm replacing all that stuff and more when I do my t-belt sometime within the next several months.
