SMOKED a LR Freelander, Speedhut Bezel, Toyota Question
I just finished installing the Speedhut carbon look gauge bezel on my 4Runner and while I was at it I replaced a good portion of the interior trim as it was all scratched from the previous owner.
I was successful at removing the auto transmission shift knob. It was nerve racking but actually not that big a deal once you get into it (if you need hints let me know). The od button just needs a little coercion.
Anyway, my question is does anybody have a guess at how long Toytota will produce parts for the 3rd generation runners?
Also - I smooooooooked a LR Freelander on a long uphill on the way home today. The Freelander was clearly straining because when I was behind I could smell strong exhaust oder and there were some puffs of smoke as the LR shifted gears.
At 60mph in fourth I was pulling only about 4psi of boost. The tranny then went to third at that was all she wrote. 7psi of boost, 260+ hp, bye bye LR.
Just thougt everyone here would appreciate the tale.
Thanks!
