Smaller tire benefits on a 2nd gen?

I just recently purchased a 2nd gen V6 5-speed w/ 242,000 miles. The truck is an absolutley perfrect 1 owner vehicle.

It came with the "big tire" package. I will need to buy tires soon. I am wondering if going down 1 or 2 tire sizes will make any noticable effect on acceleration? If not I'll just stay with the 31X10.5R15.

Thanks

You might get some better gas mileage, and acceleration, the amount or noticiablilty I couldnt tell ya... Also, your speedo will be off.

It may also put your RPM's up at freeway speeds, which is actually bad for your mileage.

It will also rack up your mileage faster so that your vehicle will read that you're traveling more than you actually are.
