Angry skippin out?

ok i blew up my 85 4runner and just put a new 22re motor in everything works great, except after i drive it for a while it starts to skip out(die out) at 3500 rpms and just keeps gettin lower the more i drive. Power comes on and off regularly revs up then down, with the pedal to the floor. i just put new fuel pump in it. thought that was the problem but still does it. its not misfiring its like the spark is shutting off. I have no idea. anybody else have this problem? any help would be great. thanx DAVE

Now that I read your post again, sounds just like what mine did when the TPS went south...and a new AFM helped as well.
