Sirius Antenna- For those who requested pics

There have been a few people requesting pics of my sirius antenna (Terk) and how I mounted it. Here are some pics!

Close up pic of the "tail" of the antenna. The wire is tucked under the weather stripping.

My awsome photoshop skills illustrate how I ran the wire. Down through the bottom of the weatherstripping and in between the gap of the fender.

This is the only part where the wire is visible. I ran it along this rubber stopper so the wire won't get crushed. I then ran it in the weatherstripping and inside the cabin.

Hope this helps. Email or PM me if you have any questions.

question for you, why did you mount it in the front instead of the rear? I have seen some people do that, and am just curious. I put mine in the back.

4Runner2003: I installed mine on where yours was first but ran into two problems:

I ran the wire through the 3rd brake light hole and out of the jam. But when I opened the hatch, it was pinching the wire.

The other reason is because with that long tail, it was under my roof rack. Yes I could have moved the rack forward, but I decided to move the whole thing instead.
