Single Point Ground - great or garbage?
I've been noticing these ground wire kits on ebay that profess to clean up the ground difference between earthing points by running a web of extra ground cables from various parts of the vehicle direct to a central earthing point attached to the battery's negative terminal.
In theory, this sounds like a great idea - as an audio engineer, ground control is very important to reduce hum, etc.
What about in practice? Anybody have experiences, positive or negative?

I think it is a waste of money except for some special applications. Like for a large amp you may want to have its own ground cable to reduce the static, or for something that requires a lot of power where you couldn't get a good ground connection. As far as resistance goes the truck frame and body usually offer very low resistance do to the plethera of metal(unless like HondaTec521 it is a rust bucket).

I have them and it definitely made a difference. It idles better, revs up faster, and at least a few more HP somewhere around the redline. The imaging is better, the sweet spot is wider and the highs are not fatiguing anymore. You have to run the ground cables few inches from the body though. I got some spacers for that, 100$ each

Ground to the frame and it's all good if you need low impediance. There's no need to have a ground wire kit form Ebay for a Yota 4runner or Taco. That kit is good for an unibody vehicle. If you get "humm' from either CB's or from the ignition then it's time ot look at a kit.
