don't want to come off as a noob, but i'm fixing my friends truck and don't have hours to spend searching the forums.

so i'm replacing at least the rear leaf springs and all 4 shocks. he also wants to do a 2-3" lift while i'm at it. (the rear leafs are flat and one of the shocks is broke in half hanging under the truck )

what brands/packages should i be looking at to find one that's of reasonable price/quality, and that i can be confident that i won't have to return incorrect parts?

i know the factory suspension qualtiy is terrible, should i be worried about the front coils? should i just replace those with taller ones rather than getting spacers?

it's a 95 tacoma sr5 extra cab 5vz 4x4 5 spd.

once again, don't wanna come off as some douchebag who doesn't wanna search, i'm no noob when it comes to cars, i'm just new to 4x4's.
