I have a 04 Tacoma DC TRD 4x4 it has the factory shocks still on it...I am wanting to change shocks..I will mostly be on HWY and a lil off roading for hunting..So I am looking for one that gives a good ride but will be good for lite off roading..Thanks RETRO

 

stick with what came with it would be my opinion.. i have the non trd 4x4 and would like to know the same answer. i have a 2002 taco 4x4 with 83k miles on it w\ factory shocks

 

bilstein, rancho... etc... though i would think that you're trd suspension is relatively better than any other factory suspension parts.

 

What you have now should be fine.....I think my 4runner still has the stock shocks on it, and it's bareable. I'm gonna change them when i find 300 bucks laying around.

 

what about for non trd 4x4 trucks?? mine is all factory, no mods.. what would be a good choice of shocks? go back with OEM?? my shocks are fine but it would be nice to know incase i ever get the urge to replace them
