Shock Install Thread ?
I've tried the search engine but I can't find what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for a thread on shock installation preferably with pics. I have a '99 4Runner Limited.
Thanks.

Hmm...I wish I had this as when I installed. Here a few...
This one is a decent one on the front shock/coil replacement. They are struts, so the whole coil/strut assembly will come out and will need to be dissasembled.

For the rear...well I couldn't really find a good write-up either. The rear by far is the biggest headache only because its so difficult to get the top nut off the shock because of the location of the nut. Its in between the flooring of the truck and the frame rail, its alot of knuckle busting work (especially on the drivers side where the gas tank is). My best suggestion would just be get under there and look around, if you have any mechanical skills you should be able to figure it out. For mine, I had to have someone hold the shock housing itself with a pipe wrench and turn it while I was holding and pushing in the opposite direction on the top nut with a rachet. Much easier said than done, soak the nut up top in a Liquid Wrench type substance a few days prior.
Good luck.
