Shock Boots really necessary??

I`ve always ran bootless on my Bilsteins so are they really necessary on the OME?

I think you'll be okay without it. That's what everyone told me when I asked

The shock boots I have found usually accumulate more crap that just stays in there because it doesn't drain out like it should through the small holes then the stuff like mud and dirt sticks to the shaft of the shock which wears on the seal and eventually leaks. It's your choice though they looks kind cool with the boots but they don't protect much in my opinion.

If you're desert racing where there's no water, install the boots. In the real world water/mud + shock boots = premature shock death.
