Yeah it's awesome up there! It's even a better view at the very top, another 500' or so, but as my 4 year old son and I were by ourselves, and the snow was starting to get pretty soft, I didn't want to take the chance of getting stuck up there. Judging by the tracks in the road, I was the only vehicle that had been up this far in a while, all the other tracks were from snowmobiles.

The city where I live is in the valley just below and so it only takes about 20 minutes to get to this spot that's in the picture! I'm such a lucky boy!

In the Magalia area on an old logging road. Magalia is about a 45 min or so drive east of Chico. This is what you have to drive up (I'm coming back down) to get up where the road was. I might get some video over the weekend going up it it's an easy climb though.
