shackle flips

I was looking into shackle flips as a cheap way of lifting my truck. Has anyone ever done them? Also, what would i do for the IFS to match the lift from the shackle flip?

By "shackle flip" are you referring to a longer that stock spring shackle in back? If so, then yes that will give you some lift:

For the front end, ball joint spacers are a common way to get an inch or two of lift:

thanks man

if the shackles give me 3 inches of lift, and the spacers only give me 1.5 inches, can i stack more than one to even it out, or should i just crank on the torsion bars?

Shackles 2"-3" longer than stock will only give you about 1.5" of lift. See the following page for a detailed explanation:

You can crank up the torsion bars a bit over the 1-5/8" ball joint spacers, not a whole lot, as you will run into limits on ball joints and steering rod ends. If you want more lift than 1.5"-2", then a mild body lift can be "stacked on top", so to speak, to give you more height:
