if you have to ask these questions, you haven't searched hard enough
there is a GIGANTIC seafoam thread somewhere that you need to find and read very, very carefully. it answers all the questions and techniques and even has one or two horror stories.
git 'r done!

i have searched that thread and i was wondering what anyones input on those few things were because a few have changed plugs or commented on the o2 sensor and cat, and a few also have not mentioned them at all.

I will NOT EVER put it in the crankcase. Off base or not and whether it was the right place or not, he is right in respect of mixing stuff you know about with stuff you don't in the crankcase.

if you can, find an old 02 sensor and plug that in and reinstall your good one when youre done w/ the SF treatment. same w/ the spark plugs. i am waiting a few more thousand miles to do the SF when the service life of my plugs are nearing their end.

I've been using it for about five years. Learned about it on the Crown Vic forum. Lots of police departments swear by it. Contrary to some stories, I have found all my internal engine parts, carbs, injectors, and plugs to look like brand new after a Seafoam treatment.
Iuse it in my 98 Honda Aero 1100 V Twin bike w/ 60000 miles., my 92 Honda Accord w/260000 miles, my 92 F150 w/ 140000 miles, my 96 Crown Vic w/255000 miles, and all lawn tracters, weed wackers, and gocarts and chainsaws. Nothing I own has ever had a major repair.
And now I'm starting out my 1999 t4r 2.7 with it. And I'm an aircraft mech for Delta, so I got no dawg in this fight. Oh yeah, never tried it in the crankcase.
