Wire ties. I think this is what you call them. Same type of ties that audio installer use.

much thanks to ASU4runner for swapping grills with me so i can do this mod. i just ordered the emblem and the mesh insert today, so hopefully i'll be sporting a satoshi grill for '06!!!

Wow! That looks amazing! Makes me wonder about doing the Satoshi on my Pathfinder!

No really, for your description of the previous owner not taking care of the paint and the matching being off, it looks just fine from the pics and the paint looks better than most cars. And I'm a detailer!

New update: I was at Performance Products the other day looking through the Toyota catalog and some company called ATS has made a Satoshi-looking grill for the 4th gen. It's a complete swap and costs about $250 not painted. I would post a link but I couldn't find it on the website. It's def something you 4th gen guys should look into.

Headlights are the factory 99+ lights. These headlights seem to be a popular swap for the 96 - 98 4runners.
