sad wheelin story conclusion

i finally took my truck home and showed my dad....... he wasnt that mad, he yelled but was like Merry Christmas ........

i cleaned out the interior and it looks fine, and at the carwash it took $15 to get all the mud off hhehe....... toyota dealer wants $800 for glass+labor, but safelite wants $300 + tax, and i get a warranty. My friends each are givin me $100 to split the window, so ill b alright.....

ps. as soon as its fixed, im goin wheelin the regular way, and pics of the damage will be up....

WOW! You do have good friends, in the end at least.

*offtopic*
Which reminds me, a buddy of mine went up to the snow with some guys in his mom's 99 Tahoe. Needless to say, he got STUCK, and STUCK BAD. We dug, and dug for 2 days. Chains on all 4. No dice. No possibility of winching, he was at least 100 yards from anything solid. He ended up paying $400 for a snowcat to pull his heavy ass out of there. Did friends chip in with money, NO.

Dang, you found a deal! I didn't really look around too much because my insurance was paying for most of mine and there wasn't going to be one cheaper than $250 so I just went with the first quote $515

safelite wants 300 + tax installed?

if so, thats not bad. if not, i told you where you could get it for 175. if you cant install it yourself, you DONT need to be playing with a 4 wheel drive.
