An unusual type of storm nicknamed an "insider slider" blanketed Southern California mountains with up to 3 feet of snow and even coated desert areas with white.

Great pic!!! Living in TX we don't get to see that anymore... I miss MN and CO.... That quad looks hella fun in the snow! Too bad Texas has ZERO public land, it makes buying toys like that hard.

 

damn i wish we could get some of that 3' action here. i've been checking the snow report in the mountains and it's been pathetic...it's so bad, i don't even want to go boarding

 

It was crazy on the freeway this morning (605 south) I saw a couple semi's with snow on their loads.

 

Yeah that was a great little storm. Tahoe is ROCKIN' already. Ski season starting early!!!!!!
